AME Church Connectional Lay Organization – Deadline 5/15/06


Jamye Coleman Williams and Joseph C. McKinney Scholarships

  • Must be a member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church
  • One of the scholarships will be given to an individual who desires to serve the A.M.E. Church in a leadership capacity.
  • Pursue course of study leading to a Bachelor’s Degree.

The J. D. Williams Scholarship – Deadline 5/15/06

  • A member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church
  • Must attend an A.M.E. College or University.
  • Must attend an A.M.E. College or University in the Fall of 2006.
  • Pursue course of study leading to a Bachelor’s Degree.

First Episcopal District Lay Organization Scholarship

The Frank C. Cummings Scholarship – Deadline – 6/1/06

  • Candidate must be active participant in the A.M.E. Church .
  • Candidate must submit a resume and show letter of acceptance.
  • Demonstrate financial need and essay is required.
  • Obtain and submit application from your local lay president.
